Kalmar is a city where everything is close at hand. From the central station, where trains and buses arrive, it is walking distance to most everything. The Maritime Academy is located no more than 5 minutes from the central station. The center is just north of the central station.

For those who come by car, there is parking in the middle between the school and the central station and on the other side of the guest harbor at the Baronen shopping center.
